Surfing like in Fiji
Most of the time surfing happens on the reef breaks because only big South-west swells get the Néra rivermouth beach break going. The reef breaks located in the Bourail pass vicinity are amongst the top 20 waves in the South Pacific.
Manu takes you to a variety of breaks (Gouaro, Green Island left, the Snorers and Secrets), that are all within a 20 minutes boat ride range. The most consistently surfed waves are Secrets and Gouaro, but if the conditions are not optimal Manu will take you to one of the other breaks.
The only beach break in New-Caledonia is at the Roche Percée beach, just 10 minutes walk from Nëkwéta Surf Camp.
